4 support riders required for the 70.3 triathlon, Sunday 18 Jan in Auckland

I am part of a group that does voluntary support riding for triathlons, marathons and peddly events around the Auckland region.

This Sunday 18th is the 70.3 (half ironman) triathlon based out of the Viaduct Events Center in down town dorkland.

We are still short 4 bikes to carry media and other duties. We need very experienced riders who have done a lot of pillion work, quiet bikes and most importantly not nutters. Basically your roles would be to carry around pillions for a variety of reasons during the cycle and run legs.

Are you interested? If so PM me your contact details so I can call you for a chat.

If I wasn't going away this weekend I would be keen. I'm sure the V-Strom could find its way around
the course on its own based on it's past life / owner. I was impressed with Alans addition
to his GS when I saw it over the weekend. Some impressive welding! Small world........

I would help, but I've never ridden with a pillion before (and don't have my full just yet - passed the CBT2 test though)

Looking at some of the crew the insanity defense is well used!

    Fuck you seem really stuck????
I'm supposed to be on Waiheke Sat night/Sunday? and my bike isn't a noise maker but it aint got Std pipes either.
What times Kick off Sunday early I'd guess??
On a Motorcycle you're penetrating distance, right along with the machine!! In a car you're just a spectator, the windshields like a TV!!

'Life's Journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out! Shouting, ' Holy sh!t... What a Ride!! '
