It was a great day. Someone else is doing something in Auckland (Ladies of HOG I think so not my thing) and no one has asked me for input for another ride south so I had no plans. Here is the link

Thanks for that update - was hoping to partake in a ride along the same lines as what you organised last year - ah well.

Over 100 Lady riders last year, all got where they were heading, no problems, had a ball, as one of those tag along males!
All kidding aside, good luck to anyone who thinks that organising a ride like this is as simple as saying, "OK we're going"

You was one of the best marker men allowed on the ride - and that was special invite only. Police checks done....lol

Hey its a new year a bunch of Auckland ladies that attended the ride last year have now broken away and are organising their own thing.

I think they didnt like when I said it is ok to overtake and normal road rules apply. The HOG ladies had drop jaw. Best of luck to them.
