What part looks like a Bandit?

It looks like the not so pretty step sister of the Honda Predator. Nothing/original new to see here.

I guess they just don't make motorcycles for two people anymore.

It's quite good looking and good specs to boot. But I personally think that the Z1000 looks way better than the Suzuki.

The fuck are you talking about? You could buy one of the THOUSAND OTHER FUCKING BIKES that cater towards two people. Pillios aren't exactly the target market for naked litre hooligan bikes.

Actually there are fewer and fewer pillion friendly bikes. The aim being to get the lady onto her own bike.... Just saying that its never going to be on our shopping list... This thread isn't about a thousand other bikes its about this one... Or do you have an issue with people expressing opinions?

That engine is widely considered the pick of the noughties litre bikes.

When I first read about the GSX-S I thought it looked pretty bland compared to the obvious big nakeds. At 140hp it's not remotely close to competing for top dog and it looks like a GSR.

But when it's phrased as "a naked K5 thou with wide bars and (hopefully) more low-mid range" then it suddenly seems a whole lot more interesting. Especially when I remember that I can't afford a Super Duke 1290, which is largely the reason I don't have one.

With a bit of luck it'll become the new Hornet 919. Only faster.

    Definitely.

It'd be pretty sad if it was faster and more boring.

So many bikes nowadays have their backs cut off - I don't like the style so not for me.

I had a wee sit on a Z100 SX the other day and one thing I noticed was that my knees immediately hurt. I see that article in question raises the same issue with the Suzuki, and indeed the same outfit criticized the Z1000 for the same thing.

So, as a big bloke how do you find it? I mean obviously if it were a problem you wouldn't be on it, but the leg room was definitely a factor for me in buying the 1290.

Yes I am, but this isn't a touring bike so two up is not its native role
