Best 650 around the 5k mark?

Hi guys. just got full license so want to hear opinions on best 650 sports class upgrade bike?

weekend riding mostly inner city & also highway

budget around 6.5k

current ideas: honda cbr600rr, kawasaki zxr6, yamaha r6

be careful of 99 through 02 r6's as they have a weak 2'nd gear and will be in the price bracket you are looking at, expect 2-3k to fix.

I've found and read some other threads in this forum and decided to look for a Honda CBR600RR 2003-2006 since they are in my price bracket

Save yourself some cash and find an SV650,will do everything your capable of and more.Awesome little bike may not fill the "look at me" square that seems to be a requirement these days but much fun.

One things for sure, unless you've taken a very long time to get your full, any of the bikes you've mentioned will be more bike than you might expect, the SV could well be your best option and perhaps your safest.
