I'd say side-stand switch might have moved a bit so that the side-stand isn't flicking it.

Could also be the anti-clockwise preload on the yellow powerband...

Sound. You also want to make sure you use the correct talk wench and not make the mistake of dialing in anti-static preload instead of anti-clockwise.

Thank you, and will it be easy enough to find the correct way to set the rebound on the cup holder? I've only got the old USB1 version...

I had the same problem with my Beemer. The mounting screw for the sidestand was loose.

You'll need a BMW manual for cup holder rebound. It's just after the recommended croissant fillings chapter but if you hit the factory colour coded scarfs you've gone too far.

I'd also suggest using an Atari diagnostics unit for your USB1 interdimensional socket. Make sure you get the tangible version though as the la foutaise version has high rates of testicular cancer discharge in its capacitor nodes.

And don't forget to check the interlocking matrix between the side-stand, the bike frame and the place of rest when the said motorcycle is leaned over.

It is essential that the matrix is positioned correctly.

It all seemed so much easier in them olden days. Nowadays by the time I've plugged the Xbox into the bikes' diagnostic port and run the full check it is almost beer o'clock...
