You know much more than I do of course, but I just copy pasted Duncan's email. I have a lot to learn.

Correct, because it turned into a bitchfest & the person that had been trying to organising it said, fuck them all & couldn't be arsed with the usual personal agenda bullshit so prevalent with non competing sidecar people.
Doesn't mean it won't happen, just that some people are getting fuckwit fatigue & others will have to step up . . .or not.

From what little I saw there was fuck all of a bitchfest, what surprised me was a couple of the Northern teams were more against it than those of us from the South

I couldn't really give a fuck what it's called, who has the naming rights or whether it's a National round we'd be coming to it regardless

Cool! We want people who just want to race and enjoy the weekend. I know the committee will do everything possible to make it a huge success, the rest is up to the competitors.

So Is it true that each competitor will be getting a free Shorai Battery?

    If I could afford it...

No doubt I will be offering something, but the next meeting with the committee will sort a lot out.

I guess it Would it be cheaper to get Laura Mcgoldric to do the commentating then maybe have her barely dressed in the Shorai gear

But Spyder might object to being relegated as commentator. You could suggest he dress up in the gear..

They felt it was a great pic on its own merits and I had no objection to it. But also, the Aussies were retaining the event as the Barry Sheene and there is some tie up to the Aus event I think. Plus they felt it would provide a bit of continuity for the first year. We're probably going to change it next year. Everything is new and open to suggestions.

What about Katmans Corner... all the cunts could sit there (like those toy town bikies that revved all over the ANZAC Dawn Parade in Waiuru.

Wordpress site huh? I'm assuming it is very much work in progress look and feel wise?
