Turn up with your gear at a bucket race meeting, talk nicely to a few guys and have a go there first.
That way you will know if you have any aptitude at all or if you are an accident waiting to happen.
There are plenty of guys here who can help you out there.
If that works out, get into Lightweight Production/Hyosung Cup for a season or two. Cheap as racing and high quality racing.
Learn your lessons there first.
DO NOT jump straight on a Superbike or even a Supersport bike first. That is just shithouse for everyone frankly.
Do the hard yards and you will be better off for it.
