    So what's an old GSX-R go for these days?

    Got a mate looking and he came across this on trademe and asked what i reckon,looks ok to me but yonks since ive bought a bike so whats it worth? I told him to offer the bloke $2,700 and go from there..regos on hold etc etc.What do you lot reckon?http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/moto...-911604462.htm

    He's got it advertised as a 96 but I'm pretty sure that's a 95... they got the lovely big bum in 96

    2.7 is likely a good price if its in good condition. You would want have a look at it and check a few things since its a little older now.

    That's not an SRAD. So first registered maybe 06, but it's an older model.

    Seems like a fairly decent deal to me, if he can get it for less than 3k.
