I read the May 2015 issue of Bike Rider recently (thanks, BigAl!) in which there was a road test of a prototype elecmicatric Harley Tractorson. I doubt they would have charging problems. Given this make's love of old technology I bet the batteries are Leclanche cells.

I've met the odd Harley, but I've never met a Ducati.

Well the Ducatis' would have been in bits, attempting to rectify one problem or another, but the Harley Fergusson would still be mint and un-ridden.

From my recent Ducati experiences, the Ducatis would be somewhere up the road at a set of lights while the owner tries to find neutral.
