I'll be there
The views expressed above may not match yours - But that's the reason my Dad went to war - wasn't it?
Life's journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, .... but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out,... shouting "man, what a ride"!!!
I really must come down to another one of these, I really enjoyed my trip down in '08.
Are they still doing the moto-unicycle races?
I wont be able to make it this year, might see what I can do about getting down there next year though.
Forecast ain't so shit-hot..

Boss says I gotta use up some holidays, I said I might be interested in taking 3 weeks off in November. I'm thinking about doing the Magpie and then the Burt Monroe.
Tossing up between the bikes, I think I'll do this trip with the Honda ST1300, maybe next time I'll take the Suzuki DR650 and check out the Molesworth station or whatever.
ahhh... done it 13 times, 1 more wont hurt, its not a bad rally I spose...
but yeah as Shrek says there has been a lot of talk and the general mumble was last years was the last, logistics being to farking difficult these days and the main man who organises it aparently died... but her is their web site http://ttag.org.nz/magpie-rally-ttag-motorcycle-club/
cheers DD
