Only stumbled upon it by chance today, usually use that MR27 form, but they've updated the website so you can do less than 3 months.

They've just moved the post shop into the supermarket here, which is a clusterfuck, so pretty stoked they've finally done this.

Still need the MR27 for less than a month or an odd amount of time.

Yep last month I paid $47.75 to register my bike for just a month

This is awesome news. Thought they might have changed the on hold time frame too but that's still set at 3 months minimum.
