Wow that chart is a pleasant surprise. my Zed is leading the charge all the way to 8,000rpm, almost to 9k.

Really expected a better result from the R1 motor. Funny how first news releases have you dribbling at the mouth. Oh I want that, I want that. Then facts start coming out of the woodwork and it's ..maybe, maybe, nah.
Read one tester saying ridden hard the MT10 tank is empty by 200km. Pointless owning one in my world then.

Looks a lot like this is the effect of having to meet Euro 4 for the MT-10 where the rest are Euro 3. Also wonder what mode it was in as the huge reduction in torque below 7k looks a lot like a rain mode to me.

Ah - if actually riding 'hard' on a liter bike for 200 kms it would be time for a rest, or at least you'd either:

    A. got away from the chasing cop(s)

    B. fallen off

I didnt know Dale did stuff for the Zeds, was talking to him and he posted the pulls he has done on them. Take a look at his site and the page for the Zeds. He gets great numbers out of them for not much $$

Was reading the Herald write up today and during their testing in Queensland they had to wait for a radiator repair due to stone damage. Why do manufacturers bother selling a product that is likely to fail unless it is modified?

Didn't all of them have that grill from like 2001 onwards?

Heaps don't. My previous Honda had a factory plastic one. My Ducati had nothing - and the lower radiator is like that Yammy - asking for trouble. Ordered a pair ASAP and looking at a couple marks on the screen well worth the money.

Had a nosey at the matt black one at red baron in Auckland. Looks alright smaller than i thought it would be but a bit too plasticy for me. In 10 years it will probably be faded cracked and look like shit.

I think the guard at the bottom is for the oil cooler?

Looks like this one might be the go.
I've been looking for something used but geez the amount of km's on every used bike I've seen and way too high prices, I may as well buy a new bike.

Red Baron are the only ones I know at the moment in Auckland....anywhere else I should go to haggle price?
I'm moving to Auckland from Australia this Sunday,,,woohoo.

A squirt of ArmorAll on the plastic every month and a wipe down and it will look good for decades. And you can get in original Gloss or Low Shine so you can match the factory finish

I have a box full of cleaning products for different applications .......... I have issues.

    Tissues, shirley?

I did sees a review of the MT10, cagerontwowheels, where he highlighted the broken plastic bits on the tail end of the bike. Flimsy plastic right where you swing your leg over. Personally, I would try to be more careful.
