oooo just realised, NP!? Good distance to go for a ride one morning maybe......

(you think I would have learnt to avoid spontaneous rides down the line after driving to welly last month to buy a mates new cruiser? No! )

Yeah I love riding it but..... Update!

I'm starting to think about getting a gixxer 1000.

My friend just bought a zx10r so now I'm getting an inferiority complex Even though he can't ride for shit and sitting on his kwaka gave me sore ass and wrists instantly. It did get me thinking more about a K5.

I am only thinking about it mind you..... But If I fall in love with one I will be forced to sell the bandit to make room. I can't justify 3 bikes to the wife or 3 regos to myself.

Although with my frail and fragile body it might not offer enough reward to make up for the lack of comfort I already get from the Bandit.

Anyone got one I could test pilot in return for a box of beers?

    Yeah that's my fear

Highly possible I've missed my window for such hardware in favour of a big squishy wide bandit seat.

Yerp right there with you. Fit highway pegs to the Bandit and when you get to the pub on a ride with your mates, offer them a strip of Panadol. My bet is all the sports bike riders will take some.

oooo hadn't thought of fitting those. Might stop me regularly standing or doing my own impression of a jousting knight with my leg sticking out on long rides.

I have them mounted to my engine guard cage, but these look good.

    Naaa .. I recently went on a day trip with a ZX10, a BMW R1000 and a Honda CBRR1000 ... On the Bandit I wasn't the slowest on the ride ..

Sp a big pass from me on the sprots bikes ... too uncomfortable and I have no inferiority complex ..

Same here, mine is standard apart from the exhaust, rejet and ohlins suspension. More than enough for the road and its comfortable.
