    Canterbury, help needed!

    hey all hope your having a good sat night! i've got a gsx250 2004 which i'm planning on turning into a street tracker style of bike and was wondering if someone with a bit of know how might be able to give me a hand with taking my engine out of my frame etc so i can tidy it up?

    can offer beers and food!

    get a manual.

    its not a hard job. If youve never done omthing like it before I suggest you get a permanent marker, some ziploc bags and some plain white stickers.

    Label each electrical plug with the stickers, number the #1, #2 #3 etc.

    any bolts / nuts you remove go in ziploc bags, and are labelled so you know where they came from.

    This way youll know where everything came from in case you have anything left over. by numbering the electrical connections youll be able to tell if youve forgotten to reconnect anything.

    Alcohol is your friend. Keeps you warm in the cold and confident when you know nothing and have no friends.

    Also makes members of the opposite sex attractive even if they are a bit borderline. That can work both ways so always top up their glass.

    hahah yes indeed -.- beers get only get me so far... like removing the tank, cleaning carbs cutting and grinding the frame! i think i need someone more mechanically minded to take that damn door stop out
