    Not sure on the 1400 motor, the 1500 lc variant may be more common. Check out Gman industries in the USA, they specialise in boules, intruders etc.

    I had a carbed 1500 and took it to Gman stage three mod, huuuuge performance gains, made the bike so much more usable. Apart from the pathetically small gas tank (14litres).

    M109R engine would be good if you could get one cheap enough. Think of the hps you could get out of them. I think they're in the 125hp region standard.

    Yes, you get very little "draw". Both behind the engine and in front of the rear wheel are
    more or less at the same pressure.

    The fan doesn't use much power, though.
