    Demerits question

Are demerits for bike and car different? Eg if I collect 100 demerits on the bike can I still drive the car?

No. You have one license with multiple classes, not multiple licenses to cover each class.
If a man is alone in the woods and there isn't a woke Hollywood around to call him racist, is he still white?

bullshit, if those demerits are for pulling wheelies which one can't do in a car then they don't apply to the other vehicle. same thing with no seat belt in a car, you don't have a seat belt on a bike so it's irrelevant..

Fair points. Stoppies are a bitch in cars too.

I think for some on here there should also be a license to breathe. Once you reach 100 demerit points, they turn off your oxygen.
I've spent my money on bikes, booze and babes. The rest I've wasted....

I know there are 30% (or 23 people for argument sake) who slot into that category.

Ask yourself how much of a sense of humour they've got about no warrant, no rego, speeding etc... why would the law be nice about it?

    +1 on slow down.

Or don't slow down and don't get caught?

If you can make it on Kiwibiker you can make it anywhere.

It seems this strategy possibly doesn't work well for all.

True. The demerit point system is not subjective to the class of vehicle.

If you have 100 points you're on the bus or on your bicycle. Or you can walk to the taxi stand

Yeah but are stoppies illegal? 'Excessive display of deceleration' ?
