    Yamaha Scorpio

    Looking for a Yamaha Scorpio in good nick. Any around?
    I've come back to biking after 30 years on the bike, and 20 off, and they seem just the bees knees.

    I'm looking around $2500 but will pay more depending on odometer, year and condition.
    cheers

    Offer $2K for this -->> http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/moto...1059070285.htm

    Having a pack rack is a bonus.

    Thanks

    Thanks for that - I've seen it. What you can't see in the photos is that the headlight area has been crashed and glued together and the tacho doesn't work. But yes, it would be worth 2 grand otherwise, I don't mind a few scratches, but replacing the electrical front end would be diff.Thanks for your reply.

    There is a 7:30 video link where the seller is very honest from about the 4 min mark about the bike and clearly explains how that happened and what the damage is.

    Scorpio

    You're right, but I tried the link several times and it wouldn't connect. My ignorance because I didn't know that Trade me won't do that. apparently you have to cut and paste a trademe link.

    Scorpio tyre recommendation?

    Yay! Finally got into a real nice Scorpio, and I'm lovin' it.
    However, several friends are seriously suggesting that I get rid of the stock Indonesian nylon tyres, and get some rubber ones.eg Metzler or Bridgestone.
    I'd welcome recommendations.
    Cheers

    Yes do it.

    Metzeler Lasertecs are the preferred option I believe.
