I have one of these on the engine bars of the touring bike - works very well. I have a 'Fat Willie' cupholder on the bars of the commuter bike. Both take styrofoam cups, off-the-shelf bottles, even a slim (Stanley) Thermos - good for cocoa-fueled runs up the Paras in winter...

On longer rides I take a thermos, shorter ride cbf.

Th CB has the most room under the seat than any bike I have *seen/owned. Normally you can fit a phone and rag at a stretch. The CB1300 will carry food and drink for a day.

*ok the Burgman will fit the contents of your flat.

Under the seat = wet weather gear (daily commute not a toy) a puncture repair kit (since the little adventure a couple of months ago seems prudent) and standard tool kit.
To be fair there would be room for a thermos as well if my wet weather gear was 3 sizes smaller.

Heh I win! Although technically not under the seat. They're loaves of bread, btw.

Moe: Well, I'm better than dirt. Well, most kinds of dirt. I mean not that fancy store bought dirt. That stuffs loaded with nutrients. I...I can't compete with that stuff.

Living inside my business = a short walk down the stairs, so no fossil fuels burnt on my commute
To laugh often and much; to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children; to earn the appreciation of honest critics and to endure the betrayal of false friends. To appreciate beauty; to find the best in others; to leave the world a bit better whether by a healthy child, a garden patch, or a redeemed social condition; to know that even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded
