To laugh often and much; to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children; to earn the appreciation of honest critics and to endure the betrayal of false friends. To appreciate beauty; to find the best in others; to leave the world a bit better whether by a healthy child, a garden patch, or a redeemed social condition; to know that even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded
I saw those figures but someone suggested they may not be accurate.

& Cagiva figures too?
Dime a dozen.
Who gives a fuck?
Almost as bad as gettin' all het-up over Kat numbers... US market thou's vs R.o.W. 11's..
if nz sale fiqures were anything to go by theres a 1 missing at the front or back of the tl1000s fiqure. The tlr was a lemon for what was intended for it and way dearer, had more power than the s and suzuki did market a race kit in various forms, actually the whole kittingkoodle to make it a very very very fucking expensive lemon.
Besides the tls was a riders bike, raw and unforgiving, affordable,a unique sound and the start of the massive rear tyre revolution.
The tlr probably won local races worldwide with the million dollar kit installed, and i remember a tls winning the nelson street races one year but the tlr was made for top racing and failed

Yes well aware of the history of the bikes having owned one years ago.
Like many vehicles that start out as failures or low sales sometimes go on to be very collectible. TL's are already becoming that way. Good condition low km models are hard to find & go for good money now.
