Competitive and dominant are not entirely equivalent. KTM are Competitive.
A lot will depend on the 2027 rule changes and/or how keen the are to hire/steal engineers and accept doing things the Ducati way. Honda will really struggle with that.
Don't you look at my accountant.

The Japanese just need to look to their past to see their future currently. Look at Honda's early cars, they were clones of European designs. Just eventually done better.

Really? We had early mid 70 Civic. It was like nothing we'd ever seen, tiny lighbulbs illuminated everything at night, Heater was amazing. Compared with our Mini it was a spaceship. Later at college a guy had an earlier (hmm, Google, yeah that's it) N360. Didn't look like anything else that we'd seen.
Are you thinking NSU or something odd?

I was thinking more of the Honda S500, Daihatsu Compagno, 60's Corona etc. Heck even the GT2000 looked like it came right out of Italy.

Probably the best known and most recent example is the first gen MX5. A combination of elements from Lotus, Jag, Alfa etc except with reliability, ease of use and comfort built in from std.

Watched Jerez last night. Lots of crashing .
Last race was good seeing #93 and #1 having a fair competition. #1 was keen to win huh ?

Not impressed with the commentry from those two Pom blokes, sounded more like the Kentucky derby, just a constant babble. I had to turn the sound way down in the end.
I'd even settle for a few comments from Crafar just for a rest.
I used to enjoy Barry Sheene he was great at it ,knowledgeable and experienced.

Beaut day out there, saddle up in two hours !!!!!

You'd never go hungry with Nigella Gaz.
If it weren't for flashbacks...I'd have no memory at all..

Welcome to the future. There's really only a couple things I like about the new regs, for example the banning of ride height and hole shot devices.
