    wow. old thread

a few bikes and many years later, just thought I'd say that I did get another bike eventually.
I had a 2008 hyosung gtr 250 for a few years and now I have a little ninja 250. I think I've been on my learners for 10 years.. really must sit restricted, before I get to 40 years old!

With the recently introduced LAM's scheme ... plenty of Learner approved motorcycles above 400 cc available (legally) for learner/restriced riders NOW ...

oldest turns 17 next month.. youngest is nearly 13 and the other is 15.
Teenagers are interesting. I brought home the kawasaki today and none even bothered to venture forth from their rooms to have a look.

I've since the original post changed wives as well, and new one came with a boy just slightly older than my oldest, who just left home.

I had an off road go-kart for a while (we live rural on a few acres) and I couldn't (the entire time I had it) convince the one who is now 17 to give it a go. Me and the +1 oldest boy at least had fun on the go-kart and had fun with paintball guns in the orchard as well.
Ah well, we're all different I suppose.

    Nice bit of history here.

This has to be a contender for the Guinness Book of Internet Records in the category of Length of Time between Forum Member's Posts.

11 years, 6 months and 6 days. Good effort.

It's a (fuckin weird) generational thing I think. From memory license applications are down for younger peeps? They are overseas anyway.
