    Thoughts on this bike?

I think it's preeeetty and totally want it. Aph thinks it looks like it got attacked by a child and that it's a crime against nature and all FZR's everywhere.

    What do you think? haha

Btw, if anyone wants to buy it for me, I wont say no. Taking charity now

I think anyone buying a 24 year old 250cc bike right now is mad, plain & simple. There's every chance that the value of bikes like these is going to plummet in the very near future with the introduction of LAMS.

    Oh, it looks ghey too.

Haha I was more meaning the paint scheme than anything haha.

Agreed re 250's. I reckon the market will be two extremes soon. The small bikes up to about the 150's and the big bikes.

    Aph may have a point.
BUT...its gonna be your bike!..not his!, so if you like the look adn the bike, thats all that matters (Plus being so "standout" it won't get stolen!)

FZR 250s are great wee bikes!, do everything well and very reliable....I think the 88 is the first yr with exup exhaust system?...if so, get them to check that it is functioning well (they can jam up with age and screw the bikes general performance)
Other wise its not to bad a price...and it has preeeety stars!

I always go with my heart and not with my brain when buying bikes...always seem to get good ones

Best of luck Lozza, hope you find the perfect "feel good" ride for yourself

Haha I think Aph was just acting like that cause thats the bike he has. I'm leaning towards something newer with a more upright position (but not AS upright as the GN), plus maybe something bigger than Aph's 250 muahahaha.

But you're right, it would never get stolen. But then again neither would a fluro pink bike. Be easy to see too *ponders*

Agree on both counts, and that bike is a disgrace to Yamaha in general...

well what i think will happen is the stealers who where asking 6k for 20 year old 250s wont any more but anything on the lams list will creep up in cost for the same reason, reasonably priced 250 will always sell

    Me no likey.
If I was twelve, confused and positively pubescent, I'd rock that shit.

Neat little bikes though, the 3LN3 onwards were seriously choice looking machines.
