    I just fitted some extra grip tyres on my DR but I had fitted some even more extra grip tyres on my Gas Gas - Tally ho and carry on old chap.

    I was looking at the engines thinking, they do look like two strokes, what got me was when they all. sounded like a single 4stroke running the ton on a straight, haha.

    Oddly enough in the 80's they had it the opposite way!

    That xt sounds suspiciously like a H1 at the start and then it sounds like a DT100 or something, lol.

    Couldn't help myself but the sales director is boarding a Lockheed electra aircraft. Basically an Orion P3 aircraft still used by the RNZAF today, although a wee bit modified.

    So its sort of neat that something from the 60's is still functional in design today... well basically.

    The P3's had a full rebulid a few years back up here in texas some what more modern now glass srceen instruments etc (touch screen). the wife was up untill we left to come here in charge of one of the maintenance crews for them.

    Only problem with that is that it's a Vickers Viscount he's boarding, not a Lockheed Electra.
