    Can you identify this?

I got this at the Hamilton swap meet at the weekend for the kids to play with. It needs a bit of work to clean it up including brake levers and a quieter exhaust so it does not piss the neighbours off too much but otherwise it seems fine. I would like to know what brand it is if anyone can identify it. Especially the motor. It appears to be a 2 stroke, but I havent had a good look at it yet
If anyone has any bits like levers it will save me making them
    Cheers

I'm one of the worlds best riders. I can wheelie, I can stoppie, I can stunt, hell I can get my shoulder down. I could keep up with Rossie if I wanted to race.

Then I go from bed to bike and somehow it all turns to crap.

So you're the one that bought it....

You might try going to the swap meet again next year and, see if they have anything for it lol.

Yeah it was me so once I get it tidied I can piss of people and they can complain like in this thread http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/sh...ad.php?t=11978
about the dickhead on the mini bike. But I refuse to wear a hoody. Least it does not look like a Harley, but between you and me I do not think it will go round a corner much better. LOL
If its japanese made perhaps I can pretend its a sports bike. Heh heh!! Shouldn't be hard to scrape the pegs anyway as they are only about 100mm off the ground

Looks like a Steen "TACO" either one of four models: 22 , 33 , 55 , or 66. American built from the late 60s early 70s

I found another picture of a Gemini on Ebay and its very similar in the collapsable handle bar design but that one had a gearbox whereas mine has a variable belt drive but it could well be a different year
