Regarding my post earlier this week.

If any one from the Manukau, Franklin and Papakura area are interested then get in quick.

I cant say that there will be preferential treatment for those comming from these areas as it wouldnt be fair on the other riders from other areas.

All I can say is that this training day at Hampton Downs is being sponsored by the district councils of Papakura, Franklin and Manukau.

I'd feel guilty about doing that Hampton Downs day - I'd end up riding the same as I normally do at a trackday, which would be unfair on the other riders around trying to learn.

When did a little rain ever stop you?

Tomorrow, 25 Feb: Few showers; Max 26°C, Min 17°C. Northerly breezes.

I believe someone gave me a bit of stick last time I made murmurs of skipping due to a bit of drizzle...

Guilty? really? As a so called rider I'd have though there would be numerous other 'events' to splurge your guilt on. Harden the fuck up and grow a singular chest hair!

Which is like a Nanna? Have you forgotten where the throttle is as of late or is that 636 a bit of a handful for you ?

My riding style differs slightly from yours insofar as the bike doesn't lie on the ground in bits, and I don't have to spend a lot of time on the phone with my unhappy insurance company.

Now that's the understatement of the year so far!! You need a HTFU pill and need to twist that accelerator a little or what point is having a 636 and paying 1000cc ACC levies? Might as well have stuck to your 400 atleast that thing didn't scare you as much eh

Now, now... take it to the ring. Or the track.

Guilty as charged. Eh, Team Hyosung!?! I rode some of Jafar's twisties again yesterday — worth a revisit some time.

Had to get a new rear tyre, as the canvas was showing, big time by the time I got home from Paeroa. so blown my budget, as I've got a busy weekend offroad bike wise, so wont be there tomorrow night, so have a safe one hope to see you all next week
Why would you ride that long and that gnarly stuff if you don't have to, Its what we do, we love it.

He just understands that it's a rider training day, not an actual trackday, something you always seem to have a problem understanding, as I recall a certain ART day up for grabs...

And yeah, because the best way to ride is to blitz it on the straights and then brake like mad for the corners eh
