Sending PXTs between Vodaphone and Telecom

    Anyone know anything about this?
I have a 3 year PXT capable phone on the Vodaphone network. Mrs Oakie has just bought a similarly capable phone on the Telecom network so she can send me PXTs at odd times. (I think she intends to distract me when I'm at work by sending me 'artistic' PXTs )
Anyhoo. She seems unable to actually send me PXTs.
    >She can TXT me just fine.
    >She can PXT her sister on Telecom (so we know it does work)

The obvious conclusion is that you can't PXT between networks ... however

    >The fella who sold the phone said you could
    >When Mrs Oakie went back to Noel Leemings, the girl there sent a PXT from her own Vodaphone connected mobile to Mrs Oakie's telecom mobile in the showroom. Indeed, I sent a PXT from my 'V' phone to her 'T' phone too so maybe you can PXT from Vodaphone to Telecom, but not the other way around?
    >But no! Both my Telecom connected daughters can PXT my 'V' mobile.
    >Oh yeah. The young spotty fella at Telecom when asked said "No way can you PXT between 021 and 027". As we'd already proven you could, we didn't take up any more of his valuable time.

So, can anyone out there offer any suggestions? I really want to get this solved so I can see what Mrs Oakie intends to send me at work.

A vodafone phone needs to send a PXT message before it can receive one.
Must set something in the connection paramaters.
Try sending yourself one eg Vodafone > Vodafone then try getting your misses to send you one.
Failing that contact 777 and log a fault and get somemore techie person onto other that the call centre staff.
