    Saving text messages

Can text messages on a cell phone be saved to a PC? Got a stupid woman at our place convinced she can save her text messages to a computer. Her sim card is full.

I suggested she just delete her existing messages. Fuck!! if looks could kill
The woman and my wife tried to download her ph txt's to the wifes laptop without success.
I know my ph simply refers to pictures and videos.

    Any body tried this??

    Yes.

My shitty old Sharp gx15 that I got 7 years ago came with software that you loaded on the computer and you could save them. But fucks knows why you would want to.

Maybe you just save them on facebook these days?

Bluetooth? Mine can do a full phone backup via bluetooth which does the text messages too. The phone model would be pretty helpful in ascertaining if it is possible or not.

    generally easy as sh*t.
how old is the phone, how old is the laptop, what brand is the phone?
    do both have bluetooth?
if yes, then generally it's a case of: download some proprietary software then follow the big buttons...

I'm pretty sure you can forward single texts through to an E.mail address.

    But I wonder also ... why bother ... ???

I've got a Nokia and use Nokia PC Suite for that - free here http://www.nokia.com/nz-en/support/p...okia-pc-suite/

    It all works easy peasy.

    Doesn't need a logical reasonto keep any text's. She's a woman

Why the fuck anyone would text her, I dont know. She's as mad as a meat axe.

Anyway she went up to the local Telecom shop after leaving our place. Had no joy there either.

Dont know how old her ph is. I just got curious after being asked, if text's could be saved.

Tell her to upgrade to a Nokia and get the PC Suite.
