Started building an urban pushbike too
Avanti alloy frame (their first fat tube road bike), low rise MTB bars, maybe some carbon fiber bar ends, 9 speed SRAM shifter, old cyclocross wheels. Just need to find a crankset with a single chainring...

Just did the valve clearances on the DR (126,000km) and twiddled with the carb.

Intake and exhaust were tight and the mixture screw was a couple of turns from where it should have been. It may have been a couple of turns out ever since I put this engine in

That's only 200m from The Emporium.

    Noooo!
My beloved Fizik Gobi XM with manganese rails!

Was cleaning the bike up after yesterdays 30km gravel grind and chasing down an annoying creak when I sat on the seat and thought, this does feel nice and plush.
    Doh!

Well, I tried this one weird trick I found on the internet to fix the creak. By Jove, I think it may have done it!

    What model buttock breaker?
I've got an Antares spare but haven't got the buttock for that one yet...

I've moved my Aliante Gamma XM from the fully to the hard tail in the meantime. Very comfortable, but not racing red

I've just remembered a ride not long ago when I went over something and there was a clunk and it felt like the seat post slipped. That may well have been when it happened...

Looking at where the log ended up, if it wasn't for a small tree, it would have smashed into the church building itself.

When I get my new rear tyre, we'll have to have a shed warming and Wairoa Gorge ride.

I'll arrange some ice specially for FluffyCat...

Shinko 705 rear is replaced. Special care was taken to get the direction arrows the right way around.
Then moar specialer attention was taken to get it right the second time.

Brake pads are replaced and there is now some copperslip on the pins as they were a bugger to remove.

Oil still needs doing but isn't up to 6,000km yet so not panicking yet.

The TT is now at its new home, nestled up to the DR where it belongs.

It's a nice little bike to ride. Far too long since the last time

Blinkers, headlight and 6v half wave rectifier and it should be good for a warrant.
