Hawke's Bay weekend rides

Ahh nothing like riding in the rain!
Well there is actually, heaps of things!!!

Schado and I went for a tootle, looked south, so much for good forecast.
Headed Middle Rd to Patangata, pissed down most of the way. But thats ok, only water, and gives you a chance to work on wet weather riding.
Had a munch at the pub, headed back via Ypawa, HW50, rain all the way cept to Tiko, then fine when got back here.

Had a bizarre experience on HW50, guy on a Harley waved to me, maybe he could see I was on a non Jappa?
Anyway it shocked me so much I did'nt wave back.
Will God forgive me?

Tried all of that last time, but the chain break is the best use it in reverse and it spreads the rivet nice and even and in about 2 minuets its all done with no swearing and curseing eH! John

Hey George, I'm buying one of those this week, got 2 chains to do this week, and a few bikes I do at work coming up, so thought would add a tool into stock, if you want to wait.

Yep

that was a nice wee ride. Yep

that was a wet ride. But I enjoyed it. It's always hard giving up riding, but it sure did get bitter cold upon arriving back in Napier... even though right now the sun has come out for a quick teasing, and the fire is going for it.

Cheers thanks mate. Mite end up in Auckland mid to late week for 2nd funeral and then I think im going to gissy Fri/Sat for work

Yep I can wait I got a shit load of tax to pay on the 7th so bike's going to be out for a week or so.

Got that chain thingy today G, works a treat put the new chain on the Duc tonight in secs.
Will need it again in a few days so grab it tommorrow if you want from work.
