I think we got that bike running pretty damn good in the end mate. Is it still hanging on idle?

haha yeah :-) almost happy with it;-) heh.

Went riding for about 3 hours on and off the last couple days, so much better with the lower shock - and the shock he put in is mint condition ay - the stock 92 one with damping and remote reservoir, preload adjustment...dropped the rear by another 2cm or so (haven't adjusted preload yet either) bit more comfortable!!

Just need a paint job for my spare tank and maybe fix the fairings, and it'd be mint! oh and maybe a stock footpeg for the right side to match my stock one on the left now :-D haha. Perfectionist...

I have an app that tracks my fuel usage...otherwise a calculator...fill up to top, reset speedo, ride, fill up again, go km/s travelled divided by Litres put in tank...aka 210/10L or something like that...

in that case mine would be 15km/l but i do alot of quick pass short riding to commute, but I get far better economy over distance plus I need a new air filter and plugs.

Fill it to the top to an accurate set point like filler neck, reset the km counter and ride it, then fill it to the same point and do the math.

You should learn to think for yourself, it will serve you well in the future.

Haha nope :-p quite handy actually - use it for the business side of things (self emplyed) tracks expenses and can do % of expenses etc that I then plug into my vehicle expenses for the business... its also been quite handy to see the fuel consumption decrease on the bike as I've been getting things sorted on it (started out at 9km/L when I first got it!
