Hey yall - been offered an HRC Mild steel system for my nc30 that needs a bit of a clean up, with a can with a little scrape on it Here

Thoughts? good value for money? 250AUD plus shipping from adelaide...I figure if I attack it and VHT ceramic paint it it should come out all right? or should I go down this route HERE Free shipping!

Yes it is off 400gb, I don't think he's advertised it though- the one up there at the mo is for 500 pounds, though there's a micron full system for 500£ that I would buy but it's a bit much!!! I thought that Yamamoto full system looked a good price though? What do you think? I just think the hrc ones don't look as nice in Matt black?

How much max do you think a NC21 could get fixed up and working? Debating fixing it up and selling it off, wouldn't want to overpay and cut even or lose money.

Not much I think..1500-2k?nc24's go for 2-2.5k but they have single swingarm...

I'm trying to get the rego off the chap so that I can find out if it's k's are genuine etc... If they are and all it needs is a tyre and oil it might be a good buy around 500.

Haha true. Good examples with nice bodywork will always fetch more as they are few and far between at that age :-). Are the nc21's lams approved?

K's look ok, been in NZ since 91 which isn't half bad.

Might go have a looksy tonight and see what's what. At the very least it might be good for crash spares for my NC24 depending on what bits swap over.

From memory not much changes over as different swingarm, clutch, exhaust, subframe, reg/rec, wiring, brakes and engine is a fair bit diff as well. Frame is the same I think? And maybe the carb body? Pretty much everything was tweaked and improved from 21 to 24...I remember reading a 400gb thread about it ages ago as I looked at one too

Hi, anyone from welly/palmy familiar with nc30's mechanically? Having a looksie at this as a bit of a tidy up and maybe for the track http://www.trademe.co.nz/853383360 but it's selling on behalf and don't think he knows what he's talking about - is anyone free or able to take a look? I'm in Wellington for a night in 2-3 weeks but won't have any transport to make it to palmy (unless I buy the bike!) but would be keen to catch up with a drink or a box of beers as a thank you!:-)

How'd you spot that? The 'spokes' alternate direction? can you see the tyre arrow mark or do you just know that tread pattern real well?:-p
