Also...got my hrc exhaust back fr vein 'ceramichromed' - aluminium ceramic polished finish...pretty happy with it - some pitting didn't come out but still all up half the price of one flat black from the uk. Going to try get it on on the weekend, wish me luck!!!

Where bouts did you source your sproket? I am trying to track one down for the NC24. After a 14t for the front or a 47/48 for the rear. Not topping out 6th down the straight at Ruapuna plus she is a wee bit sluggish out of a few corners.

I also think I might have a 40t for a NC30 in my shed if anyone wants it.

Rick Oliver in the UK. I'll have a look at what I pulled off the current bike when I put a new set of chain and sprockets, I have a feeling it might have been a 14t front as well. otherwise Ebay has them as well :-)

I sweet, if you got one I want it. I'm thinking the front from an NC30 should fit the 24... Does anyone want the 40t? Its in rather good nick.

Does anyone have any copper exhaust gaskets in the upper north island or know where I can get one tomorrow? seems I only have 3, and would like to get my exhaust in tomorrow, provided I can get the right rear manifold nut undone! Tyga tells me universal knuckle joint and a short handled ratchet? I've been using a universal socket but the handle as well as the manifold pipe itself gets in the way - has anyone on here done this?

Done :-) picture as to how I spent the last 8 hours or so...far out! Wish I had that socket joint first, and man, not easy getting that full exhaust lined up! Sounds like a vfr again now :-) no sewing machine here now!

Does anyone in Auckland have a rattle gun with 6mm hex but that is long enough to fit the fork damper bolt that I can come over and borrow sometime? :-p would like to try before I either drill it out or take it to a mechanic

Cut off an old hex key so its now just the longer end, then put it in a 6mm socket and either use an impact driver or a rattle gun, job done

Fixed! Cheers. Turns out opposite of instructions - needed to wind preload in all the way and then get the hex key on it....got it off this evening with a good crack :-) just wish there was more daylight to finish the job now!
