    I bought it!

...the current donk is fine, could do with some fresh clutch plates and the starter clutch is starting to slip on the very rare occassion...but hay, a well maintained replacement motor for the back of the shed, with only 77k, plus headers and speedo...for $900!

A big thanks to Simon from Good Parts Ltd out in Rangiora
...been such a nice to guy to deal with, options as to what parts I actually wanted with the motor (He threw in the headers & dash for free!), and he even offers payment plan options etc, just Great service and a nice down to earth guy to deal with

...and the parts lists grows (Anyone got a 929 or 954 rolling front end? ..what about a..)

ps...and thanks for all the purchase advice and peer pressure ya 400 lovers!

Probably a long shot, but does anyone want to trade a good condition original exhaust (full system) for a cut system with aftermarket can? I want a new exhaust but I can't bring myself to chop my original one.
Good opportunity for someone wanting to restore their NC30 to original condition.

you really want to talk to the person who won that auction! Gutted I didn't wake up...there another one on TM at the moment with a sweet looking undertail exhaust...but would need a fair bit of work, and given not stock, probably woudn't get money back!

    Hi VFR enthusiasts.

I'm looking for some race fairings for my NC24, does anyone have any fairings kicking about in rough shape? Mine are far to pretty to be used for racing!

    Cheers

    Quick question:

What would you guys expect to pay for a set of cut NC30 headers with a scratched and dented aftermarket muffler attached?

I've been offered a set but I have no idea if the price is good or not.

Really just looking to buy it for the headers so I can get a nice new exhaust without having to chop my standard set.

No idea really, never priced up shipping from the uk which is where other second hand ones would come from..vague guess at 250 or 300? Since it comes with the muffler, if it still works good with no holes etc. sorry about the lack of reply re pack rack - there aren't many with them on - I bought mine from a guy who had just bought/sold the bike, and the new owner preferred 80$ rather than the pack rack (score)! You can buy them new, cycletreads said about 289 or so from memory for the brackets and rack...

Yeah, with the rarity and size of the part it's pretty hard to figure out what a fair price is in New Zealand. I was offered it for $165 incl shipping, so I went ahead with it. Might have a crack at restoring the muffler, it's a 'Zorst' branded one and apparently they sound pretty awesome.

At 60$ for a footpeg assembly that sounds like an awesome price. Any pics of the muffler?ie how bad is it? I'm not a massive fan of the sound of my Yamamoto one ;-)
