Just graft a whole modern 600 front end onto it.
Relativity cheap to get the bits off eBay or whatever, relatively easy engineering and probably quite easy to get certified for road use if such things worry you.
I'm not aiming for the top of podium position so I will be keeping the stock front end, though doing some funny business with the innards. As it's an 89 it is eligible for posties and f3. Also for the AB (asian bike) class in the pacific club meetings.

Here's bungs for crashing I made today. Yes I know my bike is dirty. Suck my balls.

They stick out 100mm from the frame (the crash bungs, not my balls, those are bigger). They don't foul up my legs or boot either. Only stink bit is I took a holesaw to the glass fairing to get them in. It's either that or smash them completely when I inevitably bin it.

Any of you nc30 riding cunts want some, I can make them for cheaper than you can buy them. Different colours cost more. And I may draw dicks on them before I send them to you.

But they will still protect your rare as rocking horse poo engine cases...

There is some fine pitch m10 bolts that screw into the motor mounts bushes in the frame. A shorter one on the left and a longer one on the right. I removed those.

I turned up some studs that screw in those holes. On the other end of those studs I turned another thread for the bungs to screw onto. I think it looks tidier if there is no hole in them..

The bungs are recessed all the way down to the bushes in the frame, so the bushes can't rattle loose without their retaining bolts.

    Savvy ?

Ah i remember reading/trawling that thread.
Lost an hour, but spent a good deal of that time with a huge smile, at the time and effort someone put into a NC30.

Odd that he would go to all that trouble and expense without doing the things that make a difference outside their weight class, like removing the casting marks etc. Lovely none the less

    oh chuuuuur

Nice, spare rear rim showed up yesterday, new brake disks at the courier depo today, also got a shiny new gpra12 put on the back this afternoon.

Tomorrow is all about fitting new disks, oil change, rear pad change and finish welding up the paddock stand.

The stand should be cool too, I haven't seen one like this ever.. Will post a pic when finished.

Got my Tyga tail from the paint shop today. Looks insane, the colours match perfectly, but there are a few defects. Guess you get what you pay for ($280) The blue colour in the tail photo is a bit lighter that what it really appears.

Got into taking the subframe off tonight, before i got caught up in an OCD fit to clean my subframe. Should be all done tomorrow

Iv been looking at my heat shield and wondering if i should take it off. Has anyone done this? Any problems found afterwards?

nice looks good. I've got a tyga kit too just havnt got around to putting it on.. this summer hopefully but yeah I've removed the heatshield on my.

the only issue I had was rerouting the hoses and wires away from the exhaust pipes and try n secure them so they don't have direct vision with the pipes.

after that I havnt had any issues and it looks sick :P

Couldnt resist. Had to try it on before i had made the battery box and new coolant overflow bottle

Fitting the tail is an absolute bitch. Some how it has warped, and is flared out to one side Not a happy chap about that.

can you set it straight? my tail had a warp too right side sat lower than the left side. added some washers and alittle padding managed to get it to sit straight.

its not really that noticable from the photos
