Thanks for the offers of parts team.

I've decided to manufacture my own footpegs.. Bike won't be going back on the road so I'm after glass fairings instead of poxy ol plastic..

I have a front/side/lower set of fibreglass fairings you could take off me for a quite reasonable price I'm sure.

Already painted straight gloss black, and I've never used them since I bought 'em.

    The Mistress Is Back!!!

My parts finally arrived from the US, so I spend most of today putting her back together followed by riding the old girl for the rest of it
The misses won't be none too happy I spent the day caring for then riding the mistress, instead of doing work round the place like I was supposed to. But fuck it my sexy black mistress is back & fucked if I was gonna miss the opportunity on this decent day to ride her. It's been soo long

    My speedo just stopped working

Was riding home from the Honda dealer. About 1km from home I notice it not working. It could have happened on the way there so I could order a new cable. I hope its only the cable that has snapped...

Could pull it off at the rear sprocket then drive it with a bolt chucked into a battery drill to see where it stops....

it's probably the cheap plastic drive adaptor that's flogged out

Yeah I have heard that tends to go on these. Does this mean I only need to source the drive adapter and not a new cable? Or do they come with the cable?

Haven't done anything about it yet

OEM number: 44808-MR7-013, Joint, spdmt Vfr400r3 think they go for under $20 dollars

They fit over the nut on your front sprocket and slot into the speedo drive that bolts to the sprocket cover.

grab a drill and uncrew the speedo cable at the bottom tighten the drill chuck around it and spin it up, if the speedo moves it's not the cable.
