Mm, I might get some measurements and see about having some made.

How to ride slow at Taupo:

With the half front fairing on it makes the bike feel incredibly small...

Fastest lap that day was a 1:56 but didn't have camera running (had a mates GPS data unit on tank)

Soooooo my bike started intermittently running on three cylinders today. Pulled the plugs, left rear is beyond fucked; almost no gap and heaps of soot all over it, it had intermittent spark when I tested it grounded on the frame. I pulled the lot and gave them a good clean, heated them in a burner to burn off any residue, re-gapped them, and put them back in.
Still no luck with left rear cylinder.
Ordered a new set of plugs, but they won't be here for a little while. I wish these damn plugs were more widely available, and were'nt $40 each in New Zealand.

The worst part is that I'm booked in for the Honda track day at Hampton downs tomorrow

I don't know how the organisers are about last minute transfers, but if they're cool with it, does anyone want my spot?

Hey man, thanks for the offer, but I'd be riding the bike up, and I don't think it'd be too much fun trying to make it up there running on 3!

I think I saw you there. Silver/red VFR? I shouldn't be so anti-social and should have said hi

I talked with him further. He said he'll be at the Friday event, but bringing his Aprilia RS250. Says he prefers the smalls bikes...I can appreciate that.

BTW: I thought I was faster on the VFR than the RSV4. Wrong! I checked the lap times, 4 seconds a lap slower. It was however much more fun not having to man handle a powerful litre bike.

Yeah, would have been great to see an RC30 in its natural environment. I did ride one back in the 90s. Sublime...

Haha yeah unlikely that the vfr would be faster, even with the cornering!

Not sure the wife would let me do two in a week!he also said he is an importer for tyga or something? Seems like something that needs to be investigated further...

Ha, yeah I had to go into numerous rounds of negotiations with my wife before she agreed to two in one week. I'll pay...one way or another.

As for the RSV4, as expected it's all about the straights. Can corner much faster on the VFR.

Back straight to turn 6: Top speed (indicated) before braking - VFR 180 vs. RSV4 190. Main straight - VFR 230 vs 260.

What was the name of the App you showed me? Diablo something?
