Also...I have a new project....


30000km, imported in 1995 and has been sitting since 2000! stock except for the fibreglass front fairings and cut rear. Tossing up between swapping the fairings over from my current ride eventually, eBay or yahoo japan auctions :-). Needs brakes overhauled, probably forks done (contemplating rick Oliver internals while I'm there), battery, front wheel bearings, seat lock (likely a matching lock set) and carbs overhauled. Oh and new tires and chain - sprockets look perfect

Here's the question of today, does anyone have a spare indictor relay laying round? Mine killed itself on the way home last night

Nothing in the box sorry! Should be a fairly stock part though and available from a bike mechanic or wrecker? My query would be why did it go...I've never had one fail before - might pay to check your charging system just in case the rr is on the way out and in a frying mood?

Might be worth a check, it appears to be the relay tho it starts of "ticking" slows down, stops, starts again... everything else seems to be working fine & voltages to the relay seem fine

Confirmed as the relay & after a couple days of not so legal riding I've swapped it out for a flasher relay from the old Landy (currently being stripped down for restore) jerry rigged in & that should hopefully see me through to the weekend when I can get a proper replacement.
