Nice, good pick that! :-). Wonder if the tyre has been put on the right way on a wrong way rim or just the rim on...and is that likely to damage the rim or handling? I would imagine the spokes are designed to carry load a particular way when moving?

I can't figure out what the tyre is, but if it's a Bridgestone on the front it looks like it is on backward. The grooves should be running the other way.

Hi all, my bike is up for sale. It's been on TradeMe for a while but I've just lowered the price a bit as I need the money a little sooner than first thought.

    Trademe link here: http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/List...x?id=859912390

Description explains it all really. Had a bit of interest, open to offers, PM me or give me a bell on 0272336690.

    Cheers,

    Mark

Niice :-). It was a brilliant day!!! I have to say we were a bit jealous driving down side the track with all the bikes going past!

To mark - do you think your asking price is a little high?

Nah not me, i rock stock now.

But i do know the guy in Castrol, he was a regular at a cafe i use to work at in town.
Some serious $$$$ spent on that rvf: motogadget dash, bar end indicators, as well as the fancy gravity field sensor alarm.

Not too sure if he lurks round here.

Next day I do at taupo will probably be a test day. The last test days for the year are 24 April and 22 May. Hampton downs is a bit closer so I tend to do that a fair bit more than Taupo.

Thanks for the rep comment about doing 45s...making me feel bad

Hope I can get below 1:50 next time I go. I seem to drop 3 seconds each time although it is quickly getting harder to find time. Sick wheelie by the way!

Thanks to Icemaestro I now have a 14T front sprocket and both a 40T and 41T rear. Running the 40 rear for HD this weekend as it was suggested I might run out of revs running a 41 rear (although with the speed I go I find it unlikely). First impression after riding home is pretty good. Didn't really get a chance to test acceleration but it is easier through traffic and it gets up my stupidly steep driveway with ease now. Can't wait to try the 41 rear I bet it will be a riot!

Sweet! I had a 14t on the other vfr, reckon acceleration out of the corners was way better...don't remember what I had on the rear though...definitely notice now with a stock bike.

Also...got my hrc exhaust back fr vein 'ceramichromed' - aluminium ceramic polished finish...pretty happy with it - some pitting didn't come out but still all up half the price of one flat black from the uk. Going to try get it on on the weekend, wish me luck!!!
