If you have some, then it is a GREAT bike for adventures....Just lacking a bit of tank range...

Haha yeah only the fuel range is why I say borderline

I couldn't make it from Blenheim to Kaikoura on that as is I don't think. There are larger tanks for it however (IMS, $afari).

I can't afford it

, not unless he wanted a DR part trade anyway. I do keep going back to look at it on trademe though.

Well, turns out I am gonna buy it! The top box is fukkin ugly...So that will be changed with the nice Givi I have on the DR800.
I might sell off the Touratech boxes and racks, I prefer soft luggage..
The other stuff I can live with apart from the cockpit..., that has to be re-arranged.
I reckon it is a good deal, think of the farkling blokes do for a DR650?

Well, outbid! Went for close to $10,000! It was very nice, clean and looked new. Took it for a ride and was impressed.
When I got home finally, there was an auto bid in place...I took it to $9950 then gave in.
