Seems to me like alright value for money, as long as it's ok with those kind of kms on it. I've heard they are good for high kms, would this be a good bike?

I'm looking to do mostly weekends away with a tent and a camera, some offroad but not alot.

    Cheers

Looks in very good nick for age and milage. If there's a service history with Mount Motorcycles I'd have no issues with it, if not they should be able to give you a solid opinion on its condition. Either way they'd look after you so I don't think you can go too wrong with that one.

don't all bmw f650s have the impeller/oil-water seal problem, ovalizing of the impeller mount in the casing, as the otherside impeller mount is just the water/oil rubber seal supporting a long impeller shaft ~_~ COULD be mistaken though --- but what i've read, it's typical at high km's for the engine... (I was keen on them until I found out the problems and cost of servicing)

Surely if we take notice of ALL and sundry with forums we'd never ride or buy bikes! There are always experts out there and more time to remove, take apart and re-install and document things just because they are buried in 12 feet of snow and want to share mindless information that would lead to anxiety, panic and discord in the riding fraternity...
I do take notice but maybe at the end of the day, I decide and if it is a lemon, Hell, I will just paint it yellow and look sour all of the time because maybe I should'a listened...

    Just maybe...

mmmm I want, how do I slip this bike in the garage without the wife noticing?

    http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/moto...-865400677.htm

Think seller is being a bit optimistic asking for offers over $10500 given bike has done 56000 km with u/k service history

Wheelset 21 inch and 18 rear - suit ADV bike - The bike is extra :)

    http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/List...x?id=869094739

    Hi.
I have a set of wheels complete 21 inch front and 18 inch rear complete with rotors, cush rubbers and hubs etc. Diameter 26 mm front and 20 mm rear spindles approx.

90/90/21 and a 140/80/18 road legal DOT ADV tyres on the wheels, so all good to go.

Tyres are in very good condition and the condition of the wheels are excellent to very good. The bearing on the rear wheel is a tad gritty, will require a change is all.

Just looking at cleaning out the garage.
These came off a KTM LC4 I believe but will fit Husabergs, Husqvarna, KTM, Beta and a multitude of other adventure bikes/motocross bikes...

Perfect for someone wanting a spare set of wheels to perhaps change over from Moto or street wheels.

Reasonable offers accepted and will freight if the buyer takes care of this.
Can pick up from Te Aroha or Morrinsville with prior arrangements.

Make an offer, got to go, having to clean out and lighten the load...

Maybe worth $9000, the UK service history is a bonus in my mind, closer to KTM and recalls etc would be done religiously.
56, 000 Km is a lot in New Zealand but we forget that motors do actually go over 100,000 Km and more with good effect!
I know of a LC8 that is still going strong with over 170,000 Km on the clock and is bloody tight as...

Well I haven't had her long but the Vee Strom is up for sale as I need to liquidate some cash to take up another opportunity (Not another bike).

    2004 Suzuki DL650 V-Strom
    Reg till 29/10/2015
    WOF till 10/12/2015
    122360 km.
New Steering head bearings 400km ago
Givi touring screen plus stock screen
    Scottoiler
    Factory toolkit
    Center stand
12 volt outlet to the left of the gauges
Givi Maxia top box. Apparently you can fit 2 helmets in the topbox though I haven't tried.
    Crashbars
    Bash plate
Bags connection tank bag made specifically to fit the V-strom. The bag uses a solid mount that screws onto the top of the petrol cap, it can be removed in seconds to gas up.
Rear tyre has lots of life left, front tyre is pretty low.

This bike is NOT an ex-rental, as such it is in excellent condition for a bike of less than half the mileage. The 1st owner was a Ulysses Club member who did 115,000km's on it in 11 years. 2nd owner was a Lithuanian tourist who did 7,000km on it, then me who's done about 500km.

$4350 or $4450 including the recently purchased Adventuretech footpeg lowering kit.

I meant unknown service history as opposed to United Kingdom :-) , and I thought mileage is reasonably high for a high performance enduro as opposed to a DR650 tractor or (V strom which I consider a road bike)

high performance they are, cant imagine it has been ridden that hard as you get there pretty quick and you are still in 4th gear on dirt roads. two moto kiwis are ridding in south America two up just clocked 90000 ks
