. . . Anyone out there feel like buying it for me ?
Good spotting. I had two, sweet engine, forks like wet spaghetti but very forgiving of ham fisted beginners.
Bored and stroked and balanced my second, which turned out well, although it was easy to overrev with predictable results. Think I put three pistons in it. And a cam, they wore out eventually.
Go soothingly on the grease mud, as there lurks the skid demon
Saw a mint XL185s in a shed near here yesterday. Owner refuses to part with it though, don't blame him.
COP, "Ive been waiting to catch you all day"
BIKER "Sorry officer, I got here as fast as I could"
Thanks 10bikekid for that. It helps Be interesting what it sells for ?
You hoon Ocean1 lol. They looked good & were a lot of fun. Mine handled being loaded up with gear & a trip down the South Island & several trips up to Auck from Palmy North with ease. My mate put a 210 kit in his with a straight pipe & super trapp. He could wheelie his with ease.
Hey Robin, I also had 1 of these as a 16 year old. Mine had a 232cc Poweroll big bore kit in it with a hot cam and a super trapp.
Cam also wore through the head on mine and I had to have a plain bearing inserted into the head for the cam to run in.
When starting it used to kick back something shocking, and with the unwary ( or intoxicated ) it would lift them off the seat.
Here for a good time, not necessarily a long time
Bloody hell Mark, what a weapon !! And why does that not surprise me with you ? :-)
I bet you had fun dragging off (on road & off) unsuspecting rivals. Though I'm sure the roar of the super trapp may have tipped them off that she wasn't stock standard but I doubt they suspected a 232 BIG BORE & a HOT cam!! Well done, what fun
