im getting about 19 kms per litre. so hitting reserve around 190km
and dry tank at about 245-250 ish
altho i did hit reserve at 138 km after a particularly hard thrash up the
napier taupo and into minginui via pohokura road
the result was dry tank at 180km not far outa murupara
i carry a 5L of fuel on the carrier which has so far negated
the need for an ims or similar tank...but i still want one!@!!

still cheap enough buy for someone, btw...could anybody decipher the signature on the seat?
    The signature says 'Barry Sheene'

There was nothing wrong with the bike - just an ongoing project to re-create a modern day BSA B50 - there was much more to do, carbon bodywork, 18" rims - the project was only half finished. All the modifications took over 20kg off the weight, which, along with the pie and carb mods (all the parts were brand new) made it quite quick for a DR.

How do I know all this? It is my bike - it has been 'stolen'. I still have one of the ignition key's, some of the bits taken off, oh, and all the paperwork! I am presently in discussion with Interpol on the best way of proceeding- so if you know who bought it - better warn them. The last thing I want to do is get a fellow biker into trouble.

I have all the photos of the build. Many of the mods were made by myself, this is the rear brake pedal and footrest. The black bolts were replaced with titanium ones (1.25 threads - difficult to obtain). All the mods were mainly to reduce weight, and it was not meant to be 'off-road'.

Yep - they can not do anything as I am in Oz - that is why it has to go through Interpol.

neither. Joined the site to give a warning - only just found out. TBH, I would never buy such a new bike without seeing sales receipts, handbook, all keys, etc - did the person not realise something was wrong!!!!! If a bike is cheap, and the seller is desperate.........ask some @#$%ing questions.

Getting more and more pissed over this.
