Event location: Auckland - North Shore
We are all aware of recent trails and tribulations impacting Mack The Knife and his family.

For those that wish to participate there will be a rain or shine ride to Whangarei.

Where: BP Dairy Flat (Northern Motorway Autobahn), lots of parking and good coffee.
    Day: Sunday 09/09/07
    When : Muster 9am, 9:30 Riders Briefs, 10am departure.
Pace: Legal group ride - Team work the focus.
Why: Raise money for the family of Mack The Knifes brother.
    How: By envelope.
Who: Everybody - 250cc in particular very welcome given Macks' long
standing generosity in giving his time freely to anyone willing to listen and learn.

Can someone from Wellsford and Whangarei recommend places to park a lot of bikes and or feed and water the riders / meet riders from your area.

Donations can either be by way of spot prizes (let us know what they are on here in advance) or by envelope.

To join the ride bring a sealed envelope with what you can spare in it, no one needs to know how much or how little it is, just what you can spare.
On the envelope write your cellphone number, this will be your ticket number at the drawing.

If you do not know who Mack The Knife is please take the time to read http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/sh...ad.php?t=55054 and see just how much this man has given to the motorcycle community.
Many times we do not get to thank these selfless types while they are still alive.

    Important notes:
If you want to be involved but have no bike we could use a sweep vehicle.
If you want to be involved but cannot come send your envelope up with another rider.

Positions that need volunteers or nominations.
    Lead Bike : Adamww
    Tail End Charlie :
Depending on numbers: Escorts that know the way should the group be seperated.

Please be on time we want to leave at 10 on the button. This means you are there fueled up and ready to leave at 10.

firstly i know i shud haf probably used the other thread for the ride this weekend but given that it has numerous pages of bs and not a single organised ride/event thought id save people the trubble of reading thru garbage to find an actual ride!!!

secondly, this sounds like an awesome event for all the right causes!!! Im definately going along with my envelope and i reckon this shud be something that the club gets involved in.

finally, its a good excuse for me to go on one last ride before i start knucklin down and hittin the books next ride ull see me on after this will the first one after exams

And I just watched the weather to plan my weekend MXing and Sat looks fine and Sun looks like rain. Just thought you'd like the heads up!
On a Motorcycle you're penetrating distance, right along with the machine!! In a car you're just a spectator, the windshields like a TV!!

Exactly my point Sir......I think the AB's are over confident, too much National expectation, you know the usual, they have an easy draw so will not be tested and will only make the semi's............

I am not a rugby man, but my money is on either France or South Africa, probably both will get to Finals and South Africa may just pip France.

I'm a true patriot so I'm behind the AB's 100%, but if I had to wager my own money I would put it on the AB's with a side bet on the South African's.

Another tip to the wise, don't bet that which you can't afford. So no betting on sporting events for me.

I prefer to bet on things that I have influence over, like poker. Fancy a round of cards...
