that is a great start to a great forum....but yea..anyone else keen for a ride?? i know i am.!
For those of you whose use the fast lane on motorways and only do a 100km/hr, can you pls use the middle lane, some of us like to ride at 105km/hr thank you very much.

we are LEAVING symonds st. at 11am, so meet there around 10:30 - will go to bethels then piha and then have lunch around 3pm at hells pizza titirangi

have a FULL tank of gas as there are NO gas stations out there.

also bring a full stomach as we will not reach hell's pizza until 3 - that's 4 hours, three of which you'll spend on your bike

in event of rain over the ranges i will still be at symonds st to declare cancellation/postponement - rain/shine in the city does not mean rain/shine in the ranges

any problems txt me (andrew) 0274054213

i suggest working brakes, a pair of balls, and a bit of skill (AND GAS)

map further down the thread and here

we will get off the northwestern at royal rd - between lincon rd and westgate - and spend all of 5 minutes in 50kph suburbs then the rest will be mostly open twisty roads. this means the only gas stations you'll see is the one before you got to symonds and the shell station at titirangi

After pizza, i will take all interested down to hiua and back through yet more awesome road and back to my place/motorway, should be less than an hour
    - see post 72 further down this thread

Haha... Man it was good seeing you on those scooters on High Street. Hope you had fun that day in generating attention to yourselves.

Good luck with your test bro, and see ya around for some future pings and burns....

    no prob.

i'm picking that we leave at 1100 from symonds st

should be out west by 1130

and we'll get back when we get back

if it's raining i'll be at symonds street to tell you guys it's cancelled - remember weather in the city has little to do with weather in the waitaks
