Back in the 70's the gangs had police escorts on the roads (not all but it did happen)...just to kep them moving i guess. Even remember seeing a pillion slapper on the back holding a crate of piss....think it was between Danniverk and Napier.

HAMC... the c stands for club. they are called a club by sonny barger, one of their founders from oakland. hells angels are a club. mongrel mob/black power are a gang. i dunno what filthy few, road knights etc call themselves.

It doesnt negate the fact they ride with no respect for other road users and get into too much mischief. My opinion.

I've also given up acknowledging HOG riders on the road, they are just too cool.

Where I are or have been is not the issue here. And no. There is no reason for me to be jealous.

I am a gang of one (less overheads, streamlined organisation) sometimes two when Mrs O/r is with me!

Don't need Police escorts, I usually know where I am going.

Everyone else is/are just other road users. Not intimidated by them. (Well, not yet)

They gather inside fortified club rooms, and wear side patches
Carry weapons, are speed freaks, alway steal peoples drugs, dogs and women
And Blue is their favorite colour!

As said by a previous posters, the comradeship, trust and family like togeatherness found inside these groups is probably stronger than any other group of people. Their lives depend upon each other in many cases.
I am not saying I agree with their Charters, Ideals or motives.
But they are the worst people to get on the wrong side of, but the best to have on your side.

As for being ignored by them , well hello, when your ego is as big as theirs, everybody else is just crap

Not sure what you are looking for? Either you have been part of this life style or you have not.

If you have been there you know what it is about and no explanation is needed. If you have never been there you should not really comment as you will never understand.

A sub culture with own rules. Most do their own thing and have no interest in anything else.

But there is a camradery that you will find nowhere else. Once you are accepted you are in. And you can trust each and everyone to back you.

The others on the road arnt showing respect - its fear because the pricks are likely to cause them grief and they would rather get out of harms way.

Again - its only because they are in the pack - by themselves most of them are gutless pathetic pussies. Fuck - I boxed for years and had to fight a number of gang guys and beat most of them (most of them - but not all) - and Im a ginga computer nerd.
