Pretty good for a bigger bike. Pretty much the same as the GPX 2007 edition. I think performance wise they are pretty similar as well (0-100 and 80-120 speed tests in Automag)

Speedo reads 350 kms, wises says 368 kms. Tank brimmed off at wellsford, takes 15L at destination.

    350km / 15Litres.

    23km/L
    4.3 L/100km
    66.3 MPG

    holy shit!! Thats mad MPG..

I'd like to some day meet the idiot who invented that litres per hundred kilometres nonsense. Completely counterintuitive, ut humiliter opinor.

11 to 14km/L on the Firestorm, about 22-23km/L on the VTR250 (being thrashed everywhere!)

Our FXR used to be about 30ish km/L from memory.

Somewhere on KB theres a fuel consumption conversion spreadsheet (km/L to MPG to L/100KM etc) and a milage calculator - I use it every fill and as a maintenance record. It even does graphs!

Righto, off to the corner to play with my pocket protector by myself. As you were.

This is a really interesting thread. I'm bummed to see that based on my last fill I'm only getting:

    13.25k/l Suzuki GSXR 750
    mostly open road

I checked this about a dozen times because I couldn't believe it was so low...

I guess it's running rich...or could it be my riding? I've never thought about the fuel efficiency before but I think I will start to note it down, at least for a while.
