    2011 M50 Turangi to Serf Dorkland = 317 K's, 15 litres used =21.1 K's per Litre.

Absolutely wrapped with this sort of mileage,Op's sorry, fuel efficient kilometer munching motorcycles.
However if pushed the ol bandy does do somewhat less.
Like Dinosaur said, didn't buy it for efficiency.

I once did rotorua to hamilton on the rd400. It used a little over 14l to do 100kms. The gb500 does about 220kms on 14 l. So its pretty contrasting between a 4stroke and a 2stroke.

The original workshop manual for my A7 optimistically advises something like 39mpg, around 6l/100km. I've never measured the fuel usage, but it's at least double that, more like triple.

Yeah the old 2 strokes aren't exactly efficient machines - of course their power delivery doesn't really encourage economical behaviour either.

The 14 used to get 400km a tank on open road at 23 km a litre.

Did a few things to it and now its 18 km a litre.

Assuming the bikes not telling fibs to me.
I have evolved as a KB member. Now nothing I say should be taken seriously.

Harley 88 twin cam between 260 and 350 km's on tank of 19 liters.
Do get slightly further on 98 then on 91

With Mikuni slide carb /free flow air filter still possible to get close to 350 km's......
but usually lack selfcontrol to get over 300...

usually get speed tax added every so many fill ups,
which brings economy down a touch.........
Opinions are like arseholes: Everybody has got one, but that doesn't mean you got to air it in public all the time....

Let's continue with this old thread dredge

    1000cc Aprilia RSV Tuono

    Av 8.02 l/100km's (12.5 km's per litre) since march this year (4680 km's 371.5 litres - daily driver)

    Best 6.79 l/100km's
    Worst 10.86 l/100kms

According to Fuelio for android anyway. Neat little app.
"For a moment, nothing happened. Then, after a second or so, nothing continued to happen" Douglas Adams (1952-2001) - not riding a TUONO then!

zzr1100, normally bout 280kms per 17l but occasionally 340km/17l and sometimes 190kms/17l, can't be faffed working it out and generally travel 2up

GL1500 240km/17l or there abouts, haven't tried it at slower speeds yet but it does need a good tune up and carb balance when the weather gets warm enough not to need antarctic type gear to stay warm in my garage

My DR-Z400SM gets 29km per litre .. doesn't seem to change a great deal if I thrash it or drive sensibly ... so I just tend to thrash it everywhere :-)

Since it doesn't have a petrol gauge I track things with Fuelly ... bit of a stats nerd :-)

I have been charting mine for about 6 months.
On the cb1300 my my work trip goes (km/l) :
17.1 in standard conditions with no mentionable traffic.
16.6 in cold weather, I suspect my riding is a little more erratic / urgent plus I tend to warm the bike up cold mornings.
16.1 in wet or windy conditions.
15.9 when wearing wet weather gear (raining or not).
Observations over 12,000s of logged riding in 5 months.

Dr350 19.5. No matter what, 42 tooth rear. Observed without a log for 36000 over 5 years.
22.2-22.5 observed with a log app over 2000kms.
Bighorn over 10000 kms. Some logged some not.
    With dirty oil 5.6
    Clean oil 9.6.
