    How about adding Twist of the Wrist from Keith Code.

    EDIT: Saw it's on the racer list but any good sprotsbiker should read it whether they ride on the track or not IMHO.

    I've found this to be one of the most useful road riding books I've purchased, over and above some of the others listed here. It's more of a manual than a meandering read - concise and straight to the point.

    It's also small enough to transport on a motorcycle (if that matters). And these guys ride on the same side of the road as NZ.

    TOTW2 might be even better.

    not so much a "how to" but definitley worth a mention, is the motorcycle atlas of NZ (or any country you happen to be in at the time), Great way to discover great new rides in places you havent been before or don't know anyone to show you around, it gives pretty specific details on the difficulty/experience needed for each road they include so you can plan a ride that will be the best for how you are feeling at any particular time.

    Keith wrote twist and upon further research went a lot deeper into the technology and hence twist 2 was written. If you ever attend the California Superbike School, level one is based on Twist 2. IMHO it is the best book around but I am biased as I was an instructor at CSS.
    Every motorcycle handles perfectly. Then the rider gets on.

    There used to be a pdf copy but that attracted the attention of (Ithink) Keiths son and was removed. If he is still reading this list maybe he can organise a Group Buy - there was also a video IIRC

    I bought Total Control and def reccommend to new and seasoned riders. The writer brings battle hardened practical advice from lots of experience under road and track conditions. Useful tips like learning to realax outer or inner arms when turning, combined braking and generally why's and how's motorcycle dynamics are well explained. New riders will beniifit from cornering and line picking whilst seasoned riders will pick up lots of stuff around suspension and tyres etc. Found a copy in Borders Welly.
