so i parked in ogg today.... not bad at all
except i only know of one pedestrian access, and without an access card to the new building i can't get to my bike once the doors lock...
do we know when the carpark closes?

Just checking... Access is down the road opposite Alfred St (Grafton Rd?) and turn left and gap beside barrier?

i checked today and it is 11:30 pm, but the door to the lifts in the ogg building locks earlier than that i assume.
but the guy i asked did say if you get a ticket on entry you could probably use that to get in via pedestrian access after it locks, and just not pay with it.
i wouldn't as it'll mess with their computer system, make the carpark think it's full when it isn't....

If the lifts lock early just walk in the car entrance i guess
yeah, just realised you'd probably have to pay the ticket to get in the doors anyway wouldn't you![]()

Yesterday a pedestrian was hit/came so close to being hit by a bike coming through from symonds that it was reported
Please remind all those you see down there to come in from princess st, no exceptions.
Wasn't me -- I'm a well behaved little fellow, innit -- but was just wondering, if you were on the Symonds St side, is there an easy way to get to the parks? Or anywhere near Princes St? Without going all the way around in the heavy traffic and dozy drivers.
I nearly always come up from the motorway, so it's never an issue, but very occasionally I'm coming from Parnell and it's a pain in the arse. You can't go down the same way you come up -- they've got ruddy great traffic islands -- and we're not allowed to go the `wrong way' up Alfred St anymore (we used to have a narrow wee lane just for bikes/cycles to get to the parks there).
easiest way is to come up the mway, as in, turn from parnell to up the mway, then take the exit as the mway begins (stanley st/the one you can turn off to goto the domain), turn right onto wellesley street...This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
To get to ogg if i was coming from home i'd get off the mway at wellesley, turn right, then take two lefts and id be coming up grafton road
