Banshee 2 minimoto. Any good ?

A group of us sportbike riders are looking at getting into the minimoto scene as a freind has a huge warehouse where we are going to set up a track.
From doing a search it looks like the polini bikes are the ones to go for.
I have found a site that sells banshee 2 bikes for $1080.00. Are these any good and is the price about right? I suppose they are chinese?
Would these be a bit of a thrill and quick enough so after one ride you dont have to get the wallet out for upgrading the motor? Any useful comments would be appreciated.
Want to steer clear of the real cheap chinese bikes.

At a guess your looking at the Xtreme site???
The Banshee has plenty of power and a good handling chassis for a china made bike it's a copy of the Itialian GRC GPRacing... it runs the same engine as the chinese ZPF rep.
Heres a bit of a heads up tho water cooled bikes don't like indoor tracks... not enough speed and air flow. you'll smoke up a few clutchs a night...
The bikes that are good for indoor are Daytona's not much power but plenty of fun when everyones in the same boat run short gearing 6/75.. 30-35km/h and you'll pull out of corners at a decent pace and clutchs will last forever...

    as for Polinis
I run a Polini GP3 Ducati and I wouldn't even consider running it as an indoor but a Polini 4.2 will handle it still a little hard on clutchs tho.

Nope! Just trying to free up some cash for my motard. I'll still be racing MM just with my #2 bike!

    Yep I agree with Gadgit.
I had the Banshee 1, and it was no good on an indoor track.

I got creamed by the cheap Daytona's.
I had a go on Tim's Daytona, and had great fun.
3M Man has a fast Polini and it does not like the slow speed of the indoor track.
